I got to take a picture of ma and baby in my backyard. we have at least 3 sets of fawns, with one being twins. Ma has been hanging out in the field for awhile know, usually coming out in the same place. I think if I had to guess baby was close by. Soooo glad I was in the right place at the right time!
Baby Sandhill Crane in my backyard!
I caught this quick picture of a baby sandhill crane in my back yard. They came across the road and ma and pa got separated. I watched as baby and mom went down the field and wondered where pa was, then ma called for him and I look over as pa is flying form the next field to catch up with his family. I am amazed by the magic of GODS creature! I have watched this little since he was a wee baby. I have baby on trail camera a number of times but to look outside the patio door and see this little baby getting bigger is complete amazement. I mean look at those legs do they get any cuter?????
