Pelican!

One of my favorite times of year, trying to get those water pictures! You never know what you might capture. We strategically put trail cameras out with the hopes of getting a few special pictures. Finally got this BEAUTY in a day time picture. The pelicans come every year and I always hope they find the camera, never fails! Turkey for supper!

I don’t normally post food pics, but in honor of our Turkey Season 2020 starting tomorrow, we made wild turkey quesadilla’s and wild turkey nachos!

This mornings sit was even colder than yesterday! Three layers didn’t even cut it! But….omg I never seen so much turkey movement. I mean I had them on all three sides of me, could’t get my chair turned fast enough! Wasn’t able to get one of the big boys away from the ladies and in close enough for a good shot. Had a few jakes close. Tried to get a few pictures, but there was more pleasure in the moment. A day in the books I wont forget anytime soon.
